We are two families who love to create, build, and grow. Inspired by our young children, we create beautiful and durable woodworks that will grow young imaginations and be loved for generations. We are continuing to expand our product line up and would love to work with you to bring your dreams to life.
We live just miles from each other on the land that has been farmed by our family for over 100 years. We know our responsibility to the land and environment and ensuring sustainability for the future. It is our privilege to share our premium quality woodwork, handcrafted with care, from our family to yours.
CHRIS & MARISSA
Chris has been a Journeyman Carpenter since 2000. He owned his own company framing houses, building decks, and doing renovation projects in the greater Edmonton area. He is the talented craftsman behind the creations - sourcing the best quality wood, designing and constructing our quality pieces by hand.
Marissa is our business guru and helps Chris with finishing. She does a lot of sanding, oil finishing, and checking over items before they go to their families.
They have three excellent product testers.
COLIN & TESSA
Colin is Marissa's youngest sibling. He assists Chris with construction and finishing when he's not tending to our crops and cattle.

When you contact Prairie Pine Creations,
Tessa is who will be helping you. She handles all of our marketing, orders, deliveries and customer service.
She also helps with finishing and does all of the paint and stain selection and hand paints each item.
They have one keen little product tester!
